A FEAST FOR THE SENSES: AUG 28-SEPT 1, 2017

This 5 day (4 night) retreat is the perfect end of summer getaway and opportunity to relax and soak up the natural beauty and gifts of Canada’s East Coast island paradise. Lots of yoga magic will be served up between beach naps, sunset meditations and farm to fork culinary feasts.

Topping the CNN list of places to visit this summer, PEI contains a stunning array of natural, cultural and culinary attractions and is the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect before the hustle and bustle of September begins. Our intention for this retreat is to combine the balancing and energizing benefits of a daily yoga and meditation practice with ample opportunities to slow down, rest and relax so that you can fully savour the beauty around you and the deliciousness of this foodie paradise. PEI may be (deservedly so) famous for its lobster, oysters and mussels (oh, and potatoes!) but over the last decade, the island’s dedication to supporting local food has made it a foodie destination. Retreat participants will experience the ultimate “field to table” experience when we partake in celebrity chef Michael Smith’s (PEI’s official food ambassador) “The Feast” at the renowned FireWorks restaurant.

The Inn at Spry Point, located on the tip of PEI’s eastern shores, is our private and secluded setting for this retreat – a true coastal sanctuary perched atop PEI’s quintessential rocky red cliffs and surrounded by breathtaking views of the Atlantic’s deep blue waters. The 110 acre peninsula with its pastoral ambiance, fields rolling down to the sea, and proximity to white sandy beaches is the perfect spiritual setting for peaceful mornings filled with meditation and yoga practice and lazy afternoons strolling the many beaches and hiking trails surrounding Spry Point. Evenings will be capped by culinary surprises only PEI can offer.

Prince Edward Island may be Canada’s smallest province but it packs a passionate punch – mixing rich tradition with an increasingly vibrant and diverse population. Whether you are a repeat visitor or exploring PEI for the first time you will be enchanted by the warm and gracious hospitality that “Islanders” are known for and the beautiful simplicity of life they create.
