SUSPENSION YOGA for KIDS™ TEACHER TRAINING

Dates: May 25 & 26, 2019
Times: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm

When we observe children at play it is easy to see how we once behaved as human beings a long tie ago – swinging by our arms through trees, hanging upside down by our knees, doing cartwheels and somersaults.

Sadly, one children become institutionalized through attending schols and forced to sit for lengthy periods of time on hard chairs at poorly designed dess or carry heavy backpacks home every day and spending hours hunched over computer monitors, this joy-filled freedom of movement gives way to an onset of postural problems, and loss of flexibility results in a reduction in mobility. These conditions continue to deteriorate more rapidly as the body matures, possibly resulting in chronic back issues.

Fortunately, due to the fact that children’s skeletal systems aren’t fully set until age 12, most of these effects can be easily and quickly be reversed when Suspension Yoga™ is introduced early on.

The Suspension Yoga™ for Children Teacher Training is a supplemental training to the basic Suspension Yoga™ Teacher Training and qualifies as a Continued Education Credit in compliance with Canadian Yoga Alliance and Yoga Alliance standards.
