Chair Yoga & Working with Props

Chair Yoga is a gentle style of yoga. It can be performed from both seated and standing positions, while also integrating the breathing and mind-body benefits of a traditional yoga class. This methodology is suitable for anyone confined to long hours of sitting, as well as those with mobility issues. We will explore the many ways a chair makes a useful prop for both seated and standing postures.

Also explored will be the variety of ways other props, such as blocks, bolsters, straps. They can be helpful in finding support, stability and longevity in a yoga pose. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to RYTs.
