Shamanic Yoga Institute - 300 hour YTT
This year, we are offering our experiential and immersive Shamanic Yoga Teacher training as a 9-part series, running October 2023 to June 2024. Spend 4 intensives on retreat together on Gambier Island, at Camp Fircom, and 5 weekend immersions at Casa Copal in Vancouver.
Held by the Coast mountains, our 300-hour experiential journey weaves together shamanism, tantric practice, and expressive arts. What sets this training apart is the inclusion of Shamanic Yoga Institute’s foundational Medicine Wheel course, which takes place inside of a yoga teacher training. We walk the four gates of initiation together through ceremony and deep personal deconstruction, reflection, and ancestral healing. We are held in the arts throughout this immersion through processes such as mask-making, poetry, land art, medicine shields, soul dolls, dancing, and chanting. We are a mystery school, and you can expect much more is within the folds of this training.
