Yoga for First Responders Level 2

June 28, 2016@10:49:PM

Yoga for First Responders trainings are beneficial to anyone looking to have deeper knowledge of the psychophysiological benefits of yoga. This includes yoga teachers, first responders, friends and family, counselors, psychologists, social workers, and anyone who works with these communities. Research studies now show that yoga and other mindfulness practices contribute to alleviating the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress and Secondary Traumatic Stress (Vicarious Traumatization).

YFFR Protocol provides the tools to safely and effectively benefit the first responder population for increased levels of performance, ability to process stress, a fulfilling personal life as well as providing a pro-active approach for strengthening resiliency in body and mind.

Trainees will leave this training with YFFR protocol and curriculum in order to bring the benefits of yoga to their local departments.

YFFR trainings not only prepare you to offer yoga to first responders, but also teach how to bring this work into the first responder culture. We emphasize the importance of self-care for teachers along with practical tools to implement self-care into your life for a long, sustainable and rewarding journey.

2.5 Day training (plus I redid the Level 1 training at the same time since I was sitting in on the panel discussion at the end of the Level 1 training and was there anyway.)
