Benefits of Fertility Yoga
We hold stress in our shoulders and neck. Did you know that we also hold a lot of stress in our hips?
◾Certain poses are used to reduce tension and stress in the hips. This increases blood flow and energy to the Ovaries, Fallopian Tubes and Uterus.
◾It is hard to trust your body after it has failed you. Fertility Yoga helps you trust that your body will do what it is suppose to do.
◾Fertility Yoga switches your nervous system into Baby making mode by changing from the Sympathetic (Fight or flight) to Parasympathetic (Equilibrium and healthy) nervous system.
◾Balance Hormones and reduce any high levels of FSH.
◾Reduce the many side effects of fertility medications.
◾Lean how to breathe and quiet the mind. Often women will obsess about getting pregnant. Learn how to calm the mind chatter which re-distributes energy where it is needed most- The reproductive organs
◾Physical strength overlaps into the emotional and mental capacities. Increase your inner strength to deal with a failed cycle.
◾Connect your mind with your body. A disconnect can make getting pregnant harder. Open your heart and increase hope.
IMPORTANT NOTICE *** Do not practice fertility yoga: Within 48 hours post IVF egg retrieval, within 48 hours post embryo transfer (fresh or frozen) or pain due to ovarian stimulation.
