About Me
Living on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe of the Robinson Huron Treaty (1850) and historic territory of the Metis Peoples of Ontario, I offer a deep bow and much appreciation to the original stewards of this land.
Pronouns: she/her.
Over the last several years, I felt the pull to shift both my professional and personal development to intentionally include SEL, meditation, Reiki, yoga and other holistic healing modalities, like Healing Touch. I am a proud fur-baby momma, singer, book nerd, yarnie (crochet + knitting) and my heart is devoted to all things about the gorgeous Great Lakes - specifically Lake Superior, Huron and Michigan. Proud Breathe For Change CTY-200 + CYT-300 grad!
I have a B.A. Law and Justice and B.Ed. This is my 26th year teaching Social Science and Canadian Law at the highschool level. I am a Reiki Master Practitioner and RYT-200 (through Yoga Alliance) and CYT-300 (currently working towards my 100 hours for the RYT-500). I am working on developing my yoga and Reiki business, Light of the North Wellness.
