About Me

As both a yoga instructor and a swim coach, I’ve spent my life helping people connect with their bodies and unlock their potential in both water and on the mat. Teaching yoga since 2002 has been a deeply fulfilling journey, where I’ve had the privilege of guiding people from all walks of life, including athletes and individuals looking to find more balance in their lives. My work is grounded in a holistic approach, combining my passion for mindful movement with a deep understanding of physical alignment, influenced by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli and Esther Myers. In addition I have Certifications in Restorative Yoga and Trauma-Informed Yoga.

Yoga, for me, is not just about poses but about creating space for people to reconnect with themselves, both mentally and physically. I love helping my students find that sense of ease, whether they’re athletes striving for balance or someone new to yoga seeking calm. I bring this same energy to my swim coaching, always aiming to foster confidence and resilience. Outside of teaching, I’m continually learning, growing, and seeking new ways to support others on their journey toward strength, flexibility, and inner harmony.

About My Service

My teaching style weaves together an eclectic harmony of several yoga traditions, creating a balanced and holistic practice that honors both the physical and mental aspects of yoga. At the heart of my approach is the deep influence of Vanda Scaravelli and Esther Myers, whose teachings focus on gentle, mindful movement and alignment with gravity. I emphasize breath, grounding, and spinal release, guiding students to find freedom and ease in each pose.

Rather than pushing the body into rigid postures, I encourage a practice that is responsive to the body’s natural intelligence, fostering awareness and inner alignment. My classes blend elements from multiple traditions, offering a dynamic, yet meditative experience that helps students develop strength, flexibility, and a deeper connection to their own bodies. Through this integrative approach, students are invited to explore movement as a form of self-discovery, releasing tension and finding balance in a way that supports both body and mind.
