We are a Gold School moving into our 9th Year of offering Yoga Teacher training.
Our faculty has a combined 40 years of experience, this gives the student the support needed during the training time.
The Student will build a strong foundation in the Philosophy, anatomy, spiritual anatomy, Sanskrit, and many other fundamentals needed to build a personal practices, as well as become a successful Yoga Teacher.
We are unique in that we have combined
Visual Arts
Yoga
Healing Modalities like Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Energy Management and life skill coaching.
We have a Gift shop that focuses on local Artisans, fair trade and unique items
We have just added to this Space a Café
We are working on adding On Line YTT programs, currently all programs require attendance in class

Upon successful completion of the course you will receive certification from Art Rocks & Healing Yoga. You will have the skills to go on and Teach Yoga as well as have a deeper understanding of the time tested Science of Yoga~ Within this course, you will receive all the necessary training materials to teach Hatha Yoga, at a Professional Level, as a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher!
You will learn about asanas, adjustments to asanas, modifications to asanas, contraindications, Yogic philosophy, Yoga teacher methodology, helping students with limited range of motion, anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. You will learn that not all Yoga is created equal. It is a mistake to believe that everyone in your Yoga class is the same. This type of thinking can push your students to the threshold of injury. Ahimsa is our goal throughout all of our practices. Non Harm to self as well as to others, this applies to all aspects of our training teaching.
Teaching Yoga is more than a physical practice. You will also learn about yamas, Niyamas, chakras, bandhas, mudras, relaxation techniques, meditation, and Yoga teacher ethics. Additionally, you will discover principles of Yoga Business Development. Communication, marketing, and networking are skills every Yoga teacher should have.
