AIM — Art of Intuitive Movement Inc. is an educator-led meditation school specializing in evidence-informed, science-led meditation education, mindfulness, mindful movement, resilience and mindful leadership.

AIM'S lead faculty ( Cara Greenslade) has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, a Bachelor of Education, a Specialist in Physical Education, and an Additional Qualification in Special Education. This educator also has an E-RYT 500, YACEP, HeartMath® Certified Trainer, Canfitpro® PRO Trainer and CEC Provider ( trauma-informed yoga and meditation teacher).

AIM brings extensive experience in professional and student education, including teaching Additional Qualification courses in yoga and mindfulness to Physical and Health Education teachers through a university in Greece, as well as leading international student wellness experiences in Maui for five consecutive years.

The school’s approach combines current understanding of meditation science with practical, accessible and meaningful application. Programs are intentionally designed by an experienced educator to be user-friendly, relevant and applicable to real life, while maintaining strong professional and educational standards.

AIM’s flagship 100-Hour Meditation Teacher Certification pathway is designed to provide comprehensive education in meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, mindful movement, resilience, leadership, teaching methodology and professional practice. Successful participants receive the 100-Hour Meditation Teacher Certification and are eligible to register as a CYA-MT (Certified Meditation Teacher) with the Canadian Yoga Alliance. The pathway also includes additional certification components in HeartMath® Coherence Advantage™, Mindful Movement, The Stillness Method, The RISE-SET Method and Mindful Leadership.

AIM is committed to making high-quality meditation education accessible to students, educators, teachers, coaches and emerging professionals, with a strong focus on practical skills, resilience, leadership and real-world application.

Course Outline

This program includes 8 core modules designed by an experienced educator to make the learning as user-friendly, practical and applicable as possible:

Meditation Science & the Mind-Body Connection
The nervous system, stress response, brain function, neuroplasticity, brain waves, neurotransmitters and the science and mechanics of meditation.

Meditation Foundations & Philosophy
The nature of meditation, awareness versus thinking, meditation approaches, active and receptive practices, meditation experiences and foundational concepts.

Meditation Practice & Breathwork
Mindfulness, focused attention, open awareness, expansiveness, visualization and guided imagery, mantra and sound meditation, loving-kindness, self-compassion and foundational breathwork.

The Stillness Method— Meditation Science & Mechanics
Understanding how meditation works, nervous-system regulation, functional neuroanatomy, stress physiology, brain waves, neurotransmitters, neuroplasticity and the evidence base surrounding meditation practices.

RISE SET— Meditation in Daily Life
Applying meditation and mindfulness to resilience, focus, confidence, presence, stress, decision-making, relationships, goal-setting and sustainable daily practice.

Mindful Movement
Gentle yoga and mindful movement, somatic awareness, restorative practices, progressive muscle relaxation and using movement to support meditation and embodied awareness.

HeartMath®
Heart–brain coherence, heart-rate variability, heart-focused breathing and practical applications for stress, focus, sleep, performance and regulation.

Art of Teaching & Meditation Teaching Practicum
Teaching meditation and mindful movement, communication, cueing, pacing, session design, professional practice, ethics, psychological safety, practice teaching, feedback and facilitating meditation for others.

The program is delivered through a hybrid model combining online and in-person learning.
