The style of teaching is a practical approach to classical Hatha Yoga and philosophy with modern understanding of the body. A deep dive in the 8 limbs of yoga and its history as well as the biopsychology of the Chakras.
Course Outline
1: An interactive way of learning anatomy by exploration of the biomechanics of the Yoga poses. Exploring the body’s systems and the myo-fascial system for a better understanding of the practice.
2: Hatha style Surya namaskar + 15 basic postures + 15 postures of the students choice (while following a certain guideline, ex: 1 standing, 1 seated, 1 twisted ect, to assure a balanced posture “bank”
3: each pranayama will be unpacked from a technical and physiological point of view. Dirga, Kapalabhati, Nadi Shodhanna, Bhramari, Ujjayi, “box breathing. Unraveling the Vayus and the Maha Bhutas and Hasta mudras
4: Chakras, Nadis and Bandhas, we will explore the relation between all of there points and the coronation between these centres and our endocrine system.
5: We will be exploring the different subtle bodies and Koshas through various meditation and Pratyahara practices.
6: One of the fullest chapters as we explore the 8 limbs of Yoga, the history, the deities and their interpretations. The mantras and the Yantras. The philosophy of living your Yoga.
7: Teachers will learn how to build properly structured Yoga classes and guided meditations. learn how to create thematics and fusion creativity with authenticity all while having a well rounded class.
8: Exploration of Marketing yourself as a teacher, social media, billing as an independent worker (workshop given by accountant, CPA)
