Welcome to Somatic Studies Society – a vibrant community dedicated to exploring the vast realm of somatic practices and modalities!

"I invite you to come to a space where, in this moment, you give yourself permission and allow the sensations within your body to organically unfold." - Kathryn Kuppan

At Somatic Studies Society, we believe in the transformative power of embodied practices to foster holistic well-being and personal growth. Our mission is to create a sanctuary where individuals can deeply connect with their own bodies through a variety of somatic modalities. We specialize in Somatic Yoga Therapy and Somatic Thai Yoga Massage, offering a comprehensive approach to mind-body healing.

What sets us apart is our commitment to inclusivity and sensitivity. All our trainings, certifications, and classes are delivered through a Trauma-Informed lens, ensuring that every participant feels safe, supported, and empowered throughout their journey. We take pride in serving the neurodivergent population, recognizing and celebrating the unique ways in which individuals experience and interact with the world.

For example, our programs are designed to be neuro-affirming, accommodating individuals from all populations and walks of life by incorporating practices that embrace movement and mindfulness, allowing for the natural ebb and flow of attention within the mind, body and spirit. We understand that neurodivergence encompasses a wide range of experiences, and our approach is tailored to meet the diverse needs of our community, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive.

Join us at Somatic Studies Society and discover the profound impact that somatic embodied practices can have on your life. Whether you're seeking personal growth, professional development through gaining continuing education credits, a complete career change into the world of Somatic Yoga Therapy, or a supportive community, we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Students are encouraged to approach their Somatic Learning Experience at a pace that best suits their lives in that present moment. There may be students who will want to take only 1 course at a time, while others will desire to have a more robust and comprehensive caseload of courses. We encourage and invite all students to contact us for a FREE Discovery Call so we can help you personalize your learning plan and outcomes.
