I am a mature mother of an adult son and adolescent daughter. I am nearing the end of my federal public service career. Over the past 15+ years, I have found solace, deep healing, strength and inner joy through my yoga practice. I am fluently bilingual (French and English), have an educational background in world religions, ethics, restaurant and hotel management and am also a Usui Reiki Master Teacher and expert group facilitator. I am an artist, artisan, a recovering obsessive DIY renovator and gardener and am on a continued journey to maintain mind-body-spirit balance.
About My Service
I offer a yoga of consciousness to gently immerse students into self-discovery. Through this style of gentle hatha yoga, I invite students to enter into the physical postures not to work at perfecting them, but to discover who we are through awareness, breath and movement.
During a Kripalu Yoga session, I invite students to listen to and follow the wisdom of the body and then focus the mind in a double-arrowed awareness: outward on the posture itself and inward on the internal state of that moment's sensations, emotions and thoughts.
I guide a yoga practice through non-judgemental awareness to allow students to be in touch with their true self of stillness, breath, their inner divine self and in tune with the flow of life.
