Prenatal Yoga Class

Our prenatal yoga class provides you with a nurturing and supportive environment in which to prepare for birth and motherhood using yoga, Thai massage, breathing and meditation techniques. Prenatal yoga postures are modified to suit you and your body's changing needs as you move through the different stages of pregnancy. As well as being a great way to connect with other expectant mums, there are many other ways you and your unborn baby will benefit from joining a prenatal yoga class.

Here are a few Prenatal Yoga Benefits:
- Helps you prepare physically, mentally and emotionally for birth and motherhood using a natural, holistic approach
- Helps you understand and manage your emotions from increased hormonal activity
- Prepares and opens the pelvic muscles, hips and legs for childbirth
- Keeps your body strong, supple and aligned as it changes to make space for your growing baby.
- Creates a greater awareness of your breath, and how to use it as a tool during labor to centre and relax yourself
- Yoga can help manage weight gain and reduce uncomfortable swelling of the ankles.
- Yoga helps you connect with your unborn child
These specialized classes are suitable for women at all levels of yoga and beginners are very welcome. Partners are welcome to join for support too. Classes are offered in a comfortable, warm atmosphere creating a supportive and caring community.
