Basic knowledge of other important modalities such as: Yin Yoga, Restorative, Partner Yoga and Chair Yoga, will also be taught.

Become a certified yoga instructor in a learning and supportive environment. Our instructors will provide you with more than enough information to make sure you feel confident about going out into the world to teach your own classes. This unique course curriculum consists of a comprehensive 200-Hour Canadian Yoga Alliance Accredited program, that combines traditional yogic philosophies and techniques with the contemporary strategies and aerial techniques of Suspension Yoga™. The training focuses on providing teacher-trainees with an enhanced skill set that will equip them to expertly address the many interests and changing needs of a rapidly evolving yoga culture while also providing the established practitioner the opportunity to expand their horizon and take their practice to flight!

At The Flying Yogi, we strive to support our trainees with teaching opportunities when possible and encourage them to share the power and magic of yoga within their communities.

Basic RYT Course Overview
Students participating in this RYT Training will receive a strong foundation in Asanas & Vinyasas, Anatomy & Alignment, Adjustments & Modifications, Philosophy & Iconography, Meditation & Pranayama, Ayurvedic Principals and Practices plus Suspension Yoga™aerial training.

Fundamentals of Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Partner/Acro Yoga, Chair Yoga and Reiki Level 1 will also be taught.

THE FLYING YOGI COURSE FEES ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE
The Flying Yogi is recognized by the Federal Government as a “Certified Professional Educational Institute”
What this means is that those enrolling in our Teacher Training Programs may claim their tuition and text books as tax credit. Tuition Fees are also eligible for student loans at local banks. The course is also HST exempt

Canadian Yoga Alliance accredited training facility. cya-logo-80x80Upon successful completion of this program, students will be certified as CYTs at the 200-Hour level and eligible to join The Canadian Yoga Alliance.

Saturdays: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
Sundays: 10:30 – 7:00 pm
