August 2019 practice
In August I taught 12 classes at the Lindsay Recreation Complex. I attended the Can Fit Pro Conference and Show to keep up my certifications for Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. I was able to attend 2 sessions for Yoga. One was by "Yoga Fit", called Yoga for Athletic Recovery and Performance which was all about the importance for rest and recovery and sleep. I have not done Yoga Nidra for a very long time. It was absolutely stunningly awesome.
The other was Yoga and Ride, blending Yoga into a spin class at the end for reducing stress and the stress hormone cortisol. Also amazing. Both sessions were 75 minutes in length.
