Passion Yoga & cie is a mobile school providing personnalized and safe class at home and in corporate space in the Quebec territory. Our mission propose yoga service accessible to anyone, no matter is physical condition, is age and is occupation.

Course Outline

We have divided the Techniques training, theory and Practice in 4
Modules.

Module 1
We will start with the philosophy part taking place in September.
Patanjali Sutras , 8 Limbs, Yamas and Niyamas, Bhagavad Gita to name a few of the Key points.
We will be starting from the root up. History of Yoga all the way to Hatha and experiencing different practice and meditation techniques. Total hours : 20h

Module 2
The Asanas part taking place in november, december and April Accordingly standing, seated Asanas and Asanas using knees take place in november. The Belly Asanas and Asanas on the Back (Forward Bend Back Bend) take place in december.
The Inversions and Twists take place in April.
The module taking place in January will reviewing The Hatha Asanas and Practice Principals in concordance with the chakras.
Total hours: 100h

Module 3
The anatomy part will be provided by a certified osteopath.
Offering a basic Anatomy and Physiology along with muscular skeletal approach. We will learn to prevent injury and have a therapeutic approach trough adjustments and common injury and illness pathology. Students will be encouraged to choose a type of limitation or adjustment and observe outside of classroom.
Total Hours in Anatomy & Physiology: 20h

Module 4
Ethical Code based on our knowledge experience and The Canadian Yoga Alliance Requirements. A look at the Yogic way of life. Satsang encourages sharing and connection with fellow students to dig into the yoga world.

In between September and june 2020 we will be looking at Principals and teaching Methodology Based on the Hatha Practice and the Canadian Yoga Alliance requirements.

Sanskrit terminology will be used along with French and Basic English. We will use Leslie Kaminoff, BKS Iyengar, TKV Desikachar, Sutras go Pantajali and other references. We incorporate both Methodology , Theory and Practice.

Students will learn to create fluidity and safety class.
Teaching inside and outside of the Classroom will be required along with Homework Pertaining to the Module (Create sequences and written essay)

We will learn about creating a conscious space, (verbal) adjustments, sequencing, safety. With our extensive experience we will guide our students towards the best standards of teaching.
