Hi I'm Rayna! I'm a busy mom of two young boys and live here in Sherwood Park with my husband, boys & our dog.
I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training through Yogalife. I am passionate about empowering women to know their worth, tap into their power & channel it to live the best life they possibly can, to FEEL their best,I believe movement is medicine and a beautiful way to reconnect to our bodies and uncover deeper work within ourselves..
I decided to pursue becoming a yoga teacher because I love it so much, but I wasn't comfortable going to studios, I felt like I didn't fit in and I personally wanted a deeper practice. Much of my own practice has been done at home. I decided that I wanted to create the space I was longing for, for other women who might feel the same way.
My hope is to provide a safe space that is truly all inclusive, where you can show up on your mat exactly as you are now and know that it is enough, that you belong and are welcome. To give a good foundation for mindful movement, with purpose, intelligence and intention.To empower you to feel confident in your yoga practice and reap the benefits of consistent practice.
My mission is to help women soften to themselves, find that self compassion and truly love themselves without condition, I find that yoga can be such a great channel to connect with yourself and facilitate that healing & self discovery.
My classes will be beginner level Hatha yoga & foundation focused practice. Vinyasa style flow classes. Mindful Yin Yoga. As well as Buti Yoga.
I also teach guided meditation, mantra meditation, & gentle pranayama techniques.
