School Info

In this course you will learn to practice and teach the signature and proven Yoga Matkarma™ series (a blend of Bishnu Ghosh and Hatha traditions) which will give you not only an opportunity to teach with us, it will give you a strong, solid foundation for teaching in a variety of methods, studios, cities and environments.

You will become a confident, adept speaker and learn how to speak as a leader.

Our Matkarma™ sequence is designed to get the most out of one’s body, mind and practice. It is a sequence as well suited to people who have never tried hot yoga as it is suited to those who have spent years deepening their practice.

Teacher Training with us is suitable for those individuals who are mentally flexible and interested in being physically fit, who are excited to learn, willing to challenge themselves and discover new personal depths. We will also explore and train in Yin Yoga, Restorative and Vinyasa styles of yoga.

If you are lost, teacher training can help you find yourself. If you have emotional, psychological or physical pain, this is the place to work through it and use it as a positive platform for empowering others. You will be immersed in the study of anatomy, physiology, individual and group psychology, yoga as a philosophy and teaching methods.

You will be expected to practice and deliver the robust Matkarma™ script, complete several hours of home study and practice regularly (3-4 times/week minimum) at the studio so that you can teach from a deep and rich experience.

If you are considering a career change or having a globally transportable skill set, the certificate you achieve here will set you up to be able to teach with confidence and efficiency and passion anywhere in the word.

We are more than just a studio. We are a community and we want teachers who are interested in fostering peer support, empowerment and upholding all of the six Universal Vows of Yoga. If you are considering teacher training with us, it is highly recommended that you start coming to the studio as soon as possible to practice with us and get familiar with the methodology, philosophy behind the methodology as well as meet the incredible people that comprise this community.
